Senior Cyber Security Specialist (M) - 1 Post Job Description - Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration tests (VAPT) on web applications, mobile applications, networks, and cloud environments. - Analyze vulnerabilities using automated tools (e.g., Nessus, Burp Suite, etc.) and manual testing techniques. - Develop detailed reports of findings with clear remediation steps and recommendations for improving security postures. - Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve security vulnerabilities. - Simulate attack scenarios and exploit vulnerabilities to understand the security risks and real-world impact. - Conduct red teaming exercises and work with incident response teams for simulated adversarial attacks. - Stay updated on the latest vulnerabilities, exploits, and security trends; share relevant knowledge with the team. - Support clients by explaining vulnerabilities and providing guidance on how to mitigate them. - Help establish and refine security testing methodologies and procedures in line with industry standards (e.g., OWASP). - Perform re-tests to validate fixes and assist with ongoing security monitoring efforts. . Job Requirement - University graduate preferably in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Exceptional communication, presentation, and consulting skills, with a proven ability to explain high-level technical risks and remediation steps clearly to clients and executive boards. - Strong hands-on expertise in web application security, mobile application security (iOS/Android), network security, Active Directory, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Proficiency in using and customizing automated security testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, Kali Linux). - Deep understanding of security frameworks, methodologies, and vulnerability classifications (OWASP Top 10, SANS/CWE Top 25, MITRE ATT&CK, and CVSS). - Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate tasks and develop custom testing tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a proactive attitude toward client satisfaction. - Relevant professional security certifications (e.g., OSCP, CRTE, CRTP, GPEN) are highly preferred. .
