Solution Architect – Project-Based

We’re Hiring 📌 Solution Architect – Project-Based Company: MyanCare Location: Remote Employment Type: Project-Based / Contract Eligibility: Myanmar citizens only 📍Role Summary MyanCare is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the architecture and technical design of healthcare technology projects. Our primary development ecosystem includes Node.js, Next.js, React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript. The Solution Architect will work closely with Tech Leads, developers, DevOps engineers, project teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, reliable, maintainable, and cost-effective technical solutions. This role is expected to provide architecture-level guidance while remaining practical and closely aligned with implementation and production realities. 📌Key Responsibilities ● Design end-to-end solution and system architecture for MyanCare technology projects. ● Translate business, functional, and non-functional requirements into appropriate technical architecture. ● Define backend, frontend, database, API, infrastructure, integration, and deployment architecture. ● Provide architecture guidance for applications built primarily with Node.js, Next.js, React.js, and TypeScript. ● Design scalable API and service architectures and define approaches for third-party and external system integrations. ● Define database architecture, data models, data flows, caching strategies, and data consistency approaches. ● Define appropriate authentication, authorization, security, privacy, and audit strategies for healthcare applications. ● Establish architecture approaches for scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity where required. ● Review existing systems and recommend improvements for performance, reliability, security, scalability, maintainability, and cost efficiency. ● Evaluate architectural trade-offs and recommend practical solutions based on business needs, technical constraints, cost, complexity, and delivery timelines. ● Identify technical risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, single points of failure, and scalability limitations. ● Define integration patterns including REST APIs, asynchronous processing, messaging, caching, and event-driven approaches where appropriate. ● Support cloud and on-premise infrastructure and deployment architecture. ● Provide guidance on CI/CD, environment strategy, observability, logging, monitoring, and production readiness. ● Work closely with Tech Leads and development teams to ensure architecture decisions are correctly implemented. ● Review major technical designs, implementation approaches, and architectural changes. ● Prepare and maintain architecture diagrams, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), technical standards, integration specifications, and other architecture documentation. ● Support investigation and resolution of complex production and system-level issues when required. 📌Requirements ● Myanmar citizen. ● Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Software Architect, Technical Architect, or Senior/Lead Software Engineer with significant architecture responsibilities. ● Strong experience with the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem, particularly Node.js-based backend systems and modern web applications. ● Strong understanding of: ●Node.js ●Next.js and React.js ●TypeScript / JavaScript ●REST API and service architecture ●Relational and/or NoSQL database architecture ● Authentication and authorization ● System and third-party integrations ● Application and API security ● Performance optimization and caching ● Scalability and high availability ● Cloud and/or on-premise deployment ● Docker and containerized applications ● CI/CD and DevOps practices ● Logging, monitoring, and observability ● Strong understanding of non-functional requirements, including performance, availability, security, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and recoverability. ● Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and communicate architecture decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. ● Strong problem-solving, system-thinking, and technical decision-making skills. ● Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with distributed/remote teams 📍Preferred Qualifications ● Experience with complex systems involving multiple internal and external integrations. ● Experience designing high-availability and scalable production systems. ● Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, load balancing, caching, message queues, background processing, and monitoring/observability platforms. ● Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or comparable cloud platforms. ● Experience with microservices, modular monoliths, event-driven systems, or distributed architectures. ● Understanding of healthcare data privacy, security, audit trails, or regulatory/compliance requirements is an advantage. ● Experience conducting architecture reviews and producing technical architecture documentation. 📌Engagement This is a remote, project-based / contract position. The Solution Architect may support multiple MyanCare technology projects depending on project requirements.
